NEW SKILLS FOR NEW JOBS

Co-construction of European policies and strategies on “New skills for new jobs” for lifelong learning and jobs of the future. The co-design and research workshops analyzed and proposed actions to anticipate future skills needs, promote incentives to stimulate the development of skills both among workers and among employers, standardize the activities of public education, training and work, and develop the right mix of future skills.

The process involved seventy experts and stakeholders, EU officials, representatives of all the lifelong learning programme’s national agencies, employer’s associations, trade unions and institutions, and was performed in Budapest with the support of the European Commission, in the context of EU’s Presidency, through the “New skills Network”.
